About Us

Our Mission

The My Inner Warrior Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit, aims to provide greater opportunity throughout inner-city baseball programs. Our organization has focuses that will bring instant opportunity such as providing new equipment and volunteers to these programs, but, our mission doesn’t end there. At My Inner Warrior, we see the opportunity to change the lives of inner-city youth through the teaching of structure, passion, and dedication that comes with sport and the necessary preparation. Our goal is to bring a year-long, structured training program that will be available free-of-charge to inner-city, underprivileged, athletes. This opportunity will provide free access to trainers, coaches, and tutors, that otherwise, wouldn’t have been possible. Lastly, we are working on creating the platform to bring collegiate recruiting opportunities to the high school athletes in these programs.

Community Outreach Coordinator

As the Community Outreach Coordinator I help to organize events, recruit volunteers, or arrange other projects to get the community excited about and invested in the organization. Being a part of this organization has allowed me to meet new people, participate in fun events, and most importantly, help others. I attend Bowling Green State University. I love to help others in need, as it is such a fulfilling and rewarding experience, and am very grateful to be a part of the My Inner Warrior team!

As the Director of Development I handle many of the fundraising efforts for our organization. I am currently a student at Wittenberg University double majoring in Entrepreneurship and Sports Management. I also compete on the Baseball team for the Tigers and am involved in leadership and faith based clubs. I am the son of two hard working parents in the supply chain and entrepreneurship fields and have a sister that is a news and sports reporter in southern Ohio.

Alexandra Ruggieri

Director of Graphics & Design

As the Director of Graphics & Design I’ve had the opportunity to expand the organizations audience through the use of marketing and advertising. Being a part of My Inner Warrior has showed me all of the hard work that goes into making a non profit run smoothly and has taught me more about how important design is when you’re trying to grab peoples attention and raise an interest in the organization. I️ am currently a marketing student at Cleveland State University and have a deep passion for connecting with people through various forms of media. I’m so honored to be a member of this team and to help My Inner Warrior grow into the best organization it can be!
